Looking at yourself, sometimes you might feel that your nose is too curved, broad, or protruding so that you feel the urge to reshape them. Additionally, there are functional reasons like difficulty breathing due to structural deformities or injury to consider a nose job.

There are multiple reasons you might consider reshaping or sculpting your nose. Depending on your motivation and the best possible outcome, different ways to shape your nose can differ.

Fillers

Fillers are non-surgical procedures that inject hyaluronic acid gels to correct curves, bumps, sizes, and shapes as desired. The fillers used for the procedure are dermal fillers that will temporarily affect the target area.

Juvederm Voluma is an effective hyaluronic acid-based filler at our state-of-the-art Sasha Luxe clinics. Hyaluronic acid is a natural molecule that aids in binding water to cells. In addition, its considerable cross-linking contributes to its excellent lifting capacity, making it a perfect choice for restoring facial features volume.

The HA in Juvederm Voluma is cross-linked using a technique called Vycross, which helps to give excellent lifting ability. Voluma lasts nearly twice as long as other fillers thanks to its unique cross-linking, which helps to prevent deterioration. According to studies, it can persist for up to two years. It can also be sculpted and shaped into the appropriate contour after injection because it is a HA filler.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is a surgical process to improve the shape or functionality of the nose. Rhinoplasty may be done inside the nose or through a small external cut between your nostrils. It is possible to readjust the bone and cartilage underneath the skin.

Changing the shape of nasal bone or cartilage in several ways is possible, based on how much needs to be added or removed from your nose’s structure and available materials. First, cartilage is taken deeper inside your nose or ear for small changes. Next, the cartilage might be taken from your rib, implants, or bone from other body parts for more significant changes. After these changes are made, the nose’s skin and tissue are stitched to close the incision.

If the bone (septum) between the two sides of the nostril is bent or crooked (displaced), which can also be corrected for improved breathing.

Rhinoplasty is done under local anesthesia or general anesthesia, depending on the extent of the procedure and the patient’s condition.
